LT Foods Launches ‘Daawat Factory’ at KidZania India to Give Children Immersive Learning Experience

Global FMCG company LT Foods Limited, a leading player in the consumer food segment, has partnered with KidZania India, the country’s largest indoor edutainment theme park, to launch an immersive factory experience for its flagship basmati rice brand Daawat. Named the Daawat Factory, the new attraction has been designed to educate and engage children by showcasing the journey of basmati rice from farm to plate.

The company said the initiative is the first-of-its-kind experiential learning centre where children can understand how one of the world’s most loved food brands is produced through a combination of technology, quality control and precision.

The newly launched setup is open to children aged 4 to 14 years, allowing them to step into the role of production engineers. Dressed in factory uniforms, children work in teams and participate in a hands-on simulation of the rice manufacturing process.

During the 25-minute activity, participants observe the full production line, operate simulated machinery, make quality decisions and learn about the care and responsibility involved in producing premium basmati rice. At the end of their session, children receive a 200-gram pack of Daawat Basmati Rice along with a digital Certificate of Achievement, recognising them as certified production engineers.

According to the company, the Daawat Factory creates a unique connection between a product commonly found in Indian kitchens and the science, craftsmanship and innovation that goes into making it—an aspect that often remains unseen by consumers.

Speaking on the launch, Ashwani Arora, Managing Director and CEO of LT Foods, said the company believes in building a deeper relationship between consumers and the food they eat.

He said the collaboration with KidZania India marks an important step in creating meaningful experiences for children, helping them understand the journey of one of the world’s most preferred food brands while introducing them to the values of quality, innovation and responsibility from an early age.

Arora added that the immersive experience gives children insight into every stage of rice production—from paddy procurement and pre-cleaning to ageing, de-husking, de-stoning, colour sorting and final packaging.

He said the initiative becomes even more meaningful because it gives young, curious minds the opportunity to understand how everyday food products are made.

Highlighting the role of KidZania India, he said the platform is known for its innovative edutainment model and offers children a safe, engaging environment where they can learn through role-play activities.

Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman of KidZania India, said the launch of Daawat Factory at KidZania showcases the journey of a product that holds a special place in almost every Indian household.

He said the interactive experience demonstrates the transformation of paddy into premium basmati rice, helping children and families gain a deeper understanding of the food they consume while building meaningful engagement with the brand.

Kumar said the partnership also reflects LT Foods’ commitment to quality, innovation and purposeful customer engagement. He added that KidZania is proud to collaborate with LT Foods, a global leader in the rice and food sector, to bring the immersive experience to children.
