IRCTC Launches Bharat Gaurav Train Covering 3 Dhams and 11 Jyotirlingas

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a unique spiritual tourism package, “Dev Darshan Yatra: 3 Dham & 11 Jyotirlinga,” to be operated on the premium Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train from September 3, 2026. The 17-night, 18-day journey will cover nearly 10,000 kilometres, offering devotees an opportunity to visit some of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites in a single trip.
For the first time, the specially curated rail tour will combine three major Dhams—Jagannath Puri in Odisha, Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu, and Dwarkadhish in Gujarat—with visits to 11 Jyotirlinga shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Key destinations include Kashi Vishwanath, Baidyanath Dham, Mallikarjun, Bhimashankar, Grishneshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Nageshwar, Somnath, Mahakaleshwar, and Omkareshwar.
The deluxe air-conditioned train, accommodating around 150 tourists, will offer First AC, Second AC, and Third AC classes. Passengers can board from Delhi Safdarjung, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur, and Prayagraj stations.
IRCTC said the train is equipped with modern amenities, including fine-dining restaurants, shower facilities, sensor-based washrooms, CCTV surveillance, security personnel, and onboard foot massagers. The package also includes guided sightseeing, AC road transfers, vegetarian meals, hotel stays, travel insurance, and dedicated tour managers.
The itinerary begins with visits to Varanasi and Deoghar before proceeding to Puri, Rameshwaram, Pune, Nashik, Dwarka, Somnath, and Ujjain. Pilgrims will also explore cultural landmarks such as the UNESCO-listed Kailash Temple at Ellora, Panchvati in Nashik, and Dhanushkodi.
Package prices start at ₹1,49,965 for AC III class, ₹1,81,995 for AC II class, and ₹1,98,010 for AC I class. IRCTC expects strong demand for the limited-seat spiritual journey, which promises a comprehensive pilgrimage experience across some of India’s most sacred destinations.
