New Weekly Amrit Bharat Express to Connect Gorakhpur and Delhi
Railways will introduce a new weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Gorakhpur Junction and Delhi Junction to provide passengers with a more convenient and direct travel option between eastern Uttar Pradesh and the national capital.
Train No. 15095/15096 Gorakhpur–Delhi Junction–Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express will commence regular service from August 27, 2026. The train will depart Gorakhpur every Thursday, while its return service from Delhi Junction will operate every Friday from August 28, 2026.
The train will connect Gorakhpur with Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Burhwal Junction, Sitapur Junction, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad before reaching Delhi Junction.
Train No. 15095 will depart Gorakhpur at 10:45 pm and arrive at Delhi Junction at 12:50 pm the following day. In the reverse direction, Train No. 15096 will depart Delhi Junction at 2:10 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 6:30 am the next morning.
The service will provide improved connectivity for passengers travelling between Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The train will comprise sleeper-class and general-class coaches.
