The rallies are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., aiming to foster a deep connection between the nation’s youth and the global theme of Ayurveda Day.

These thrilling Bikers Rallies will be held in New Delhi, Lucknow, Nagpur, Chennai, Jaipur, Patiala, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram, and Ahmedabad, uniting young bikers from different parts of India for a common cause. The rallies will kick off from various locations, marking a significant celebration of India’s rich Ayurvedic heritage and the holistic principles of Ayurveda for the betterment of public health.

Dr. Bharti, Director of the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in New Delhi, will flag off the rally in Delhi, where more than 150 enthusiastic bikers will take to the streets in support of Ayurveda for One Health.

The main highlight of Ayurveda Day, which will be celebrated on November 10, is the grand event to be held in Panchkula, Haryana, on November 9-10, 2023. This event aims to bring India’s ancient Ayurvedic medical culture to the global stage and promote Ayurveda as an integral part of people’s lifestyles worldwide. To set the stage for this remarkable celebration, the Ministry of Ayush is orchestrating these inspiring bikers’ rallies across the country.

Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, emphasized that connecting the youth with the ‘Ayurveda for One Health’ campaign can pave the way for a robust and healthy India. The rallies are expected to motivate the youth to embrace Ayurveda and other traditional Indian medical systems, promoting a healthier lifestyle for all.

Organized by esteemed institutions such as Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Delhi and Patiala, National Ayurveda Research Institutes (RARI) in Lucknow, Nagpur, Jaipur, Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram, and Ahmedabad, Dr. A. Lakshmipathy National Ayurveda Research Institute, and Capt. Srinivas Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute in Chennai, as well as the National Institute of Medical Heritage (NIMH) in Hyderabad, these rallies have garnered the support of dedicated young biker groups across these cities. The Twin Nomads Biker Club in Delhi, the Dragon Jade Club in Vishakapatnam, and the Tamilnadu Bikers Association Members (TNBAM) in Chennai, among others, are collaborating to make these rallies a resounding success.

The coordinators of the Delhi bikers group include Anas & Shivam of Twin Nomads Bikers Club (TNBC), Mohd Arshad of Purani Delhi Motorcyclist (PDM), Ashish from Weekend Riders Club (WRC), Mohd Sameer of Kayi Rider Group (KRG), and KC Tyagi of Meraki Rider Group (MRG). The rally will commence at 8 a.m. from Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Punjabi Bagh, travel through Motibagh to Jakira, and return to CARI. A group of 20 specially-abled bikers will also join the rally, showcasing their unwavering commitment to Ayurveda and traditional Indian medical systems.

With these enthusiastic Bikers Rallies revving up the enthusiasm and passion for Ayurveda across the nation, the Ministry of Ayush is all set to make Ayurveda a fundamental component of public health and well-being. As the month-long celebrations for the eighth Ayurveda Day commence, they are divided into three major components: Ayurveda for students, Ayurveda for farmers, and Ayurveda for public health, serving as a holistic approach to spreading the wisdom of Ayurveda.
