Finalists Announced for Three Flagship Global AI Impact Challenges Ahead of India AI Impact Summit 2026

With global anticipation building for the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026, the organisers have unveiled the finalists of three flagship global competitions — AI for ALL, AI by HER, and the YUVAi Global Youth Challenge. The Summit will be held from February 16 to 20 in New Delhi, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, investors and innovators from across the world.

The three Global Impact Challenges received an overwhelming response, with more than 4,650 applications from over 60 countries. After a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process involving domain experts, technologists and industry leaders, 70 teams have been selected as finalists. These teams will showcase their scalable AI solutions at the Grand Finale and Awards Felicitation Ceremony on February 16 and 17 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi.

The strong international participation reflects India’s growing stature as a global hub for responsible and inclusive artificial intelligence innovation. The challenges were designed to promote AI solutions aligned with global priorities such as healthcare, climate resilience, agriculture, education, governance and financial inclusion.

AI for ALL: Scalable AI for Public Good

The AI for ALL Global Impact Challenge attracted over 1,350 applications from more than 60 countries. The initiative focuses on scalable, real-world AI solutions that can address pressing developmental challenges, particularly in the Global South.

The Top 20 finalists represent a diverse range of applications. These include AI-driven infection screening tools, soil intelligence platforms, climate risk analytics systems, digital health diagnostics, cybersecurity platforms, industrial efficiency monitoring tools, and AI-enabled governance frameworks.

Indian startups such as AOne, CoRE Stack, Elementech Circle, Intello Labs and Wysa are among the finalists, alongside international innovators like Biome Makers (USA), CarbGeM (Japan) and Helium Health (Nigeria). Several solutions focus on agriculture and climate resilience, including satellite-driven farm risk scoring and AI-powered crop grading systems integrated with digital marketplaces.

Healthcare innovations are also prominent, with AI tools for diabetic retinopathy screening, autism detection, low-cost medical imaging triage and multilingual mental health support. Together, these solutions demonstrate how artificial intelligence can enhance public service delivery, improve productivity and strengthen institutional capacity.

AI by HER: Women at the Forefront of AI Innovation

The AI by HER Global Impact Challenge received over 800 applications from more than 50 countries. Dedicated to advancing women-led AI entrepreneurship, the challenge underscores the importance of inclusive digital growth and gender equity in the global technology ecosystem.

The Top 30 finalists represent women innovators building impactful AI solutions across healthcare, sustainability, finance, workforce development, agriculture and digital commerce.

Among the standout innovations are AI-enabled cervical cancer screening devices, multilingual clinical decision support systems, voice-to-electronic medical record platforms, precision nutrition technologies and ESG automation tools. Platforms such as Shabd AI are expanding localization across 22 Indian languages, while Gooey AI (United States) and Happykids AI (Luxembourg) are building socially impactful AI orchestration and wellbeing systems.

Other finalists include AI-based credit intelligence platforms, generative AI design tools, mobile-first commerce platforms for MSMEs, and AI-powered career mobility solutions. Collectively, the AI by HER finalists reflect a strong global movement of women technologists leading innovation with measurable social impact.

The initiative aligns with India’s broader vision of positioning women entrepreneurs at the forefront of emerging technologies and ensuring that AI-driven growth is inclusive and equitable.

YUVAi Global Youth Challenge: Next-Generation AI Leaders

The YUVAi Global Youth Challenge, aimed at young innovators aged 13 to 21, received more than 2,500 applications from 38 countries. The Top 20 finalists showcase the extraordinary talent and problem-solving capacity of the next generation of AI leaders.

The selected teams are applying AI to public health, agriculture, climate action, accessibility, smart mobility and digital trust. Notable innovations include malaria species detection systems from Thailand, AI-powered wearable devices that convert impaired speech into clear speech in real time from India, and AI-driven cervical cancer screening platforms.

Youth-led climate solutions such as forest fire early warning systems, predictive flood monitoring platforms and sustainable livestock management tools highlight a strong focus on environmental resilience. Other projects include AI-based deepfake detection systems, telemedicine platforms for rural healthcare, smart traffic management tools and assistive technologies for the visually impaired.

Several Indian youth teams have also developed solutions for intersection safety alerts, wildlife protection, Braille learning, dysarthria detection and heritage tourism enhancement. The diversity of ideas demonstrates how young innovators are harnessing AI to tackle real-world challenges with creativity and technical sophistication.

A Platform for Global Collaboration

All 70 finalists will present their solutions at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where they will interact with global policymakers, venture capitalists, corporate leaders and academic institutions. In addition to awards and recognition, the finalists will receive ecosystem support aimed at helping them scale their innovations nationally and internationally.

Organisers stated that the overwhelming global participation highlights India’s emergence as a leader in responsible AI development, guided by the principles of People, Planet and Progress. By combining technological innovation with social purpose, the three challenges aim to create sustainable, inclusive and scalable AI ecosystems.

As the India AI Impact Summit 2026 approaches, the spotlight is now on the finalists who will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can be harnessed not only for economic growth but also for social transformation.
