Setting-Up of Mechanized Laundries over Delhi Division
In order to provide neat & clean linen services to its esteemed passengers, Northern Railway Delhi Division has set up four departmental mechanized laundries at Anand Vihar, Delhi, Delhi Sarai Rohilla & Hazrat Nizamuddin coaching depots. With the start of these in-house laundries, substantial improvement in the quality of linen washing has been witnessed and passengers are getting spick and span linen.
S. C. Jain. Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi said that these laundries have linen washing capacity of 1 Ton in each Shift at each location. These mechanized laundries have state of the art most modern linen washing & calendaring machines, equipments & other allied utilities of laundry, which is instrumental in providing clean linen to the passengers in trains
