Notable precipitation has already been documented in various parts of Kerala until 1200 UTC on May 29th, 2024.

  • Thiruvannathapuram AP: 57 mm
  • Kochi: 22 mm
  • Kannur: 21 mm

Furthermore, automated weather stations (AWS) and automatic rain gauge (ARG) stations throughout Kerala have registered significant rainfall totals:

Simultaneously, Northeast India encounters heavy rainfall, attributed to Cyclone Remal. The declaration of monsoon onset in Northeast India is anticipated on May 30th.
