Ticket Check by ‘NARI SHAKTI’ – Tejaswini Squad at CSMT Station Yields Impressive Results
Mumbai’s iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) witnessed a remarkable ticket check operation on October 23, 2023, led by an all-women team of Ticket Checking Examiners (TTEs) known as the “Tejaswini Squad.”
The Tejaswini Squad consisted of:
➡️ 47 dedicated ladies TTEs ➡️ 11 vigilant ladies from the Railway Protection Force (RPF)
Their display of prowess, tact, vigilance, and efficiency was evident as they conducted thorough checks, leading to the identification and penalization of:
➡️ A total of 730 ticketless passengers ➡️ An imposition of penalties amounting to Rs 1,88,605/-
This operation serves as a reminder to all passengers to travel responsibly and with a valid ticket, ensuring a dignified journey. The use of the “UTS MOBILE APP” is encouraged for acquiring unreserved tickets, making the process more convenient and efficient.
