Temporary Diversion and Regulation of Trains on Samastipur Division due to Traffic Block

In light of the ongoing traffic block for Non-Interlocking Work at Bhairoganj-Kharpokhra Stations in Samastipur Division, the Northern Railways has announced temporary diversions, short terminations, originations, and regulations of several trains. These changes are aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of train services during the scheduled maintenance work. The details of the affected trains are as follows:

Trains Diverted:

  • 12558 Anand Vihar Terminal – Muzaffarpur Sapt Kranti Superfast Express, scheduled for JCO (Journey Commencing On) 28.05.23, 29.05.2023, and 30.05.2023, will be diverted to run via Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur.
  • 15706 Delhi-Katihar Champaran Humsafar Express, scheduled for JCO 30.05.23, will be diverted to run via Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur.
  • 15274 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Satyagarh Express, scheduled for JCO 29.05.23, will be diverted to run via Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur-Sagauli-Raxaul.

Trains with Short Termination/Origination:

  • 14010 Anand Vihar Terminal-Bapudham Motihari Champaran Satyagarh Express, scheduled for JCO 29.05.2023, will be short terminated at Bagaha.
  • 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal Champaran Satyagarh Express, scheduled for JCO 30.05.2023, will short originate from Bagaha.

Trains Subject to Regulation:

  • 14010 Anand Vihar Terminal-Bapudham Motihari Champaran Satyagarh Express, scheduled for JCO 29.05.2023, will be regulated for 60 minutes in Siswa Bazar-Bagaha.
  • 15274 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Satyagarh Express, scheduled for JCO 26.05.23, 27.05.23, and 28.05.23, will be regulated for 60 minutes in Kaptanganj-Bagaha.

These temporary changes in train routes, termination points, and regulations have been implemented to accommodate the necessary maintenance work on the tracks and ensure the safety of passengers. The Northern Railways urges all passengers to take note of these alterations and plan their journeys accordingly. The regular train services are expected to resume once the traffic block is lifted and the maintenance work is completed.
