Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Unveil Massive Development Projects in Rewari

In a significant move towards bolstering infrastructure and public services, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Rewari, Haryana on February 16th, 2024. The visit will witness the inauguration, dedication to the nation, and laying of foundation stones for multiple projects amounting to over Rs 9750 crore.

Among the key highlights of the visit is the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gurugram Metro Rail project, slated to cost approximately Rs 5450 crore. This transformative project, spanning 28.5 kilometers, aims to enhance urban mobility by connecting Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5 and integrating with the existing metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari, a monumental endeavor valued at around Rs 1650 crore. Set to be established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), AIIMS Rewari will offer state-of-the-art healthcare facilities including a hospital complex with 720 beds, medical and nursing colleges, and comprehensive patient care services spanning various specialties and super specialties.

In addition, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra, a cutting-edge museum designed to immerse visitors in the timeless teachings of the Mahabharata and the Bhagavad Gita.

Moreover, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stones and inaugurate several railway projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and efficiency in the region. These include the doubling of railway lines and the inauguration of the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, which promises to reduce travel time and improve connectivity between Rohtak and Hisar.
