Prime Minister Modi will commence the tour by visiting Sindri, Dhanbad, in Jharkhand, where he will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth a staggering Rs. 35,700 crore. Notably, he will dedicate the Sindri Fertiliser Plant to the nation, marking a significant milestone in the revival of the country’s fertiliser sector. Additionally, the Prime Minister will unveil the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Chatra, reinforcing the energy infrastructure of the region. Moreover, the railway sector in Jharkhand will receive a major boost with the flagging off of three new trains.

West Bengal Highlights:

Transitioning to West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for projects worth Rs. 22,000 crore. Among the notable projects is the Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase II, aimed at strengthening the state’s power sector. Furthermore, the inauguration of the Haldia-Barauni Crude Oil Pipeline will enhance the energy infrastructure, facilitating safe and efficient crude oil supply to various refineries. Additionally, infrastructure at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata will witness significant augmentation, contributing to improved cargo handling and port productivity.

Bihar Highlights:

In Bihar, Prime Minister Modi will unveil projects worth more than Rs. 34,800 crore, focusing on infrastructure expansion and energy sector development. The expansion of the Barauni refinery and the inauguration of the Barauni fertiliser plant underscore the government’s commitment to revitalizing key sectors. Furthermore, the launch of numerous railway projects and the inauguration of wastewater treatment facilities highlight efforts towards comprehensive development.

Energy Sector Boost:

A significant aspect of the tour includes the inauguration, dedication, and foundation stone laying for oil and gas sector projects worth approximately Rs. 1.48 lakh crore in Begusarai, Bihar. Notably, the extraction of ‘First Oil’ from the KG Basin marks a historic achievement, signaling reduced dependence on energy imports and enhanced energy security for the nation.

Livestock and Agricultural Initiatives:

Prime Minister Modi will also dedicate ‘Bharat Pashudhan,’ a digital database for livestock animals, empowering farmers with traceability systems and disease monitoring tools. Additionally, the launch of the ‘1962 Farmers App’ will facilitate access to the database, aiding farmers in leveraging agricultural resources efficiently.
