PM Modi Witnesses ‘Bharat Shakti’ Exercise in Pokhran
The Prime Minister’s day will commence with the observation of ‘Bharat Shakti,’ a synergized demonstration of India’s defence prowess through a Tri-Services Live Fire and Manoeuvre Exercise in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This exercise underscores India’s strides towards self-reliance in defence, showcasing advanced weapon systems and platforms across multiple domains.
Ahmedabad Railway Projects and DFC Dedication
Following the ‘Bharat Shakti’ exercise, PM Modi will head to Ahmedabad to dedicate railway projects worth over Rs 85,000 crores. These projects include the inauguration of Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) sections, laying the foundation stone for various railway infrastructure projects, and flagging off ten new Vande Bharat trains. These initiatives aim to bolster railway infrastructure and connectivity, enhancing passenger comfort and freight movement efficiency.
Sabarmati Ashram Redevelopment
In Gujarat’s historic city, Sabarmati, PM Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Kochrab Ashram and launch the Master Plan of the Gandhi Ashram Memorial. The redevelopment initiatives aim to preserve Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy and teachings for future generations, with plans for expansion, restoration of historic buildings, creation of visitor facilities, and establishment of a library and archives building.
