Weekly Special Train to Connect Indore and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra

New Delhi, 12 May 2023: The Northern Railway has announced the operation of a weekly summer special train between Indore and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, starting from 17 May 2023 to 30 June 2023. The decision to run the train has been taken to facilitate the rail passengers and clear extra rush.

According to the Northern Railway press release, the 09321 Indore- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Special Express will run on every Wednesday from Indore to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, and the 09322 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Indore Special Express will run on every Friday from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Indore. Both trains will make seven trips during the period.

Moreover, the 09321/09322 New Delhi- Shri Mata Vaishno Katra-New Delhi Weekly Special Express will also be operational with fourteen trips. The train will depart from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on every Thursday and from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to New Delhi on every Sunday.

The train will cover several important stations such as Indore Jn, Dewas, Ujjain Jn, Nagda Jn, Kota Jn, Sawaimadhopur Jn, Gangapur City, Bharatpur Jn, and Palwal Jn.

The departure time of the train from Indore Jn is 23:30, and it will arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 09:15. On the return journey, the train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 22:15 and arrive at Indore Jn at 08:45.

The train will consist of AC-2 Tier, AC-3 Tier, Sleeper Class, and General class coaches, providing comfortable and affordable travel to passengers.

The railway authorities have urged passengers to follow COVID-19 protocols, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing while traveling on the train.
