New Vande Bharat Express to Enhance Connectivity Between Lucknow and Dehradun

In a move aimed at enhancing rail connectivity and passenger convenience, Indian Railways is set to introduce a brand-new Vande Bharat Express train service between Lucknow and Dehradun. The new train, numbered 22545/22546, will commence its regular operations from March 26, 2024, in both directions.

Operating six days a week, excluding Mondays, the Vande Bharat Express will provide a swift and efficient mode of transportation for passengers traveling between the two cities.

The schedule for the Lucknow-Dehradun and Dehradun-Lucknow routes is as follows:

22545 Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express (Effective from March 26, 2024)

  • Departure: Lucknow Jn. (LJN) at 05:15
  • Stops include Bareilly Jn. (BE), Moradabad Jn. (MB), Haridwar (HW), and reaches Dehradun (DDN) at 13:35.

22546 Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express (Effective from March 26, 2024)

  • Departs from Dehradun (DDN) at 14:25
  • Stops include Haridwar (HW), Moradabad Jn. (MB), Bareilly Jn. (BE), and reaches Lucknow Jn. (LJN) at 22:40.

Comprising Chair Car and Executive Car Class Coaches, the Vande Bharat Express promises a comfortable and modern travel experience for passengers. This introduction is expected to significantly improve connectivity and accessibility between Lucknow and Dehradun, catering to the growing transportation needs of the region.
