Enforcement Directorate Raids Properties of Amit Kumar in Bihar Over Alleged Exam Result Manipulation
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Government of India, conducted a search operation at the residential premises of Amit Kumar, also known as Baccha Rai, and the institutions Vishun Rai Mahavidyalaya & Vishun Rajdev Teachers Training College located in Bhagwanpur, Vaishali, Bihar. The operation, carried out on December 9, 2023, is linked to the alleged manipulation of intermediate exam results by Amit Kumar.
During the search operations, ED officials discovered various incriminating documents and records related to the purchase of more than 100 plots of land. In addition, a significant amount of cash, totaling ₹2.87 Crore, was seized as part of the ongoing investigation. The raid aims to uncover the extent of the alleged malpractices and financial irregularities associated with Amit Kumar and the educational institutions in question.
