Disruption in Western Railway Services Due to Heavy Rains in Ratlam Division

The relentless downpour in Ratlam division of Western Railway has led to significant disruptions in train services, affecting both journey commencing dates (JCO) and routes. Here are the key updates:

Train Cancellations:

  1. Train 22943 Daund-Indore, scheduled for JCO on September 18, 2023.
  2. Train 22944 Indore-Daund, scheduled for JCO on September 17, 2023.

Train Diversions:

  1. Train 12284 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Express, scheduled for JCO on September 16, 2023, will be rerouted via Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Jalgaon, Kalyan, and Panvel.
  2. Train 22194 Gwalior-Daund Express, scheduled for JCO on September 16, 2023, will take an alternative route via Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, and Manmad.
  3. Train 22653 Trivandrum-Nizamuddin Express, scheduled for JCO on September 15, 2023, will follow a modified route via Nandurbar, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Gwalior, Agra, and Palwal.
  4. Train 12493 Miraj-Nizamuddin Express, scheduled for JCO on September 17, 2023, will be diverted via Kalyan, Bhusawal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhopal, Bina, Gwalior, and Agra.
  5. Train 22943 Daund-Indore Express, scheduled for JCO on September 17, 2023, will follow a revised path via Kalyan, Khandwa, Itarsi, and Bhopal.
  6. Train 12939 Pune-Jaipur Express, scheduled for JCO on September 17, 2023, will be rerouted through Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, and Jaipur.
  7. Train 22193 Daund-Gwalior Express, scheduled for JCO on September 17, 2023, will take an alternate route via Panvel, Kalyan, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, and Gwalior.

These changes in train operations have been necessitated by track settlement and disturbances in track parameters in the Amargarh-PanchPiplia section of Ratlam division, illustrating the Western Railway’s commitment to passenger safety during adverse weather conditions.
