In a significant development, the Wardha-Nanded new railway line project has reached various milestones, showcasing substantial progress in its construction.

- Total Length: The total length of the railway line stands at an impressive 284.65 kilometers.
- Completed Work: A substantial portion of the project, equivalent to 15 kilometers, has been successfully completed.
- Total Cost: The estimated total cost of the project is approximately 3445.48 crore rupees.
- Expenditure So Far: As of now, a total of 1816.28 crore rupees, which accounts for 52% of the project’s cost, has already been expended.
- Physical Progress: The physical progress of the project has reached 47%.
- Land Acquisition: Land acquisition for the project is nearly complete, with 1911 hectares out of 2138 hectares acquired, totaling 89%.
- Completed Segment: The completed section spans 15 kilometers from Vardha to Devali.
- Near Completion Segment: The segment nearing completion, likely within this fiscal year, covers 23.61 kilometers from Devali to Kalamb.

- Major Bridges – 40% completed (32 out of 80).
- Minor Bridges – 16% completed (50 out of 320).
- RUBs/ROBs – 36% completed (19 out of 52).
- Station Buildings – 3 out of 27 completed.
- Track Linking – 28 out of 284.60 kilometers completed.
