  • Land Acquisition Completed: Land acquisition is nearly finalized, with 99% of the required land (1806 Hectare out of 1821 Hectare) secured.

  • A significant section of 66.18 kilometers (26%) between Ahmednagar and Ashti has already been successfully completed.

  • An additional 67.12 kilometers (26%) from Ashti to Eganwadi is nearing completion and is expected to be finalized in the current financial year.

Sections in Progress:

  • The Eganwadi-Parli stretch, spanning 127.95 kilometers (48%), is actively under construction.

Completed Works: The project has seen substantial progress in various critical areas:

  • Earthwork: 97% of the earthwork (418 LCum out of 430 LCum) is completed.
  • Major Bridges: 77% of the major bridges (49 out of 64) are already in place.
  • Minor Bridges/RUB: 82% of the minor bridges/Railway Under Bridges (RUB) (249 out of 302) have been successfully constructed.
  • Railway Over Bridges (ROB): 21% of the planned ROBs (14 out of 65) have been completed.
  • Railway Under Bridges (RUB): 85% of the RUBs (110 out of 130) are now part of the project.
  • Station Buildings: Construction of station buildings is progressing well, with 29% (6 out of 21) already completed.
  • Track Linking: Over 44% of the track linking work (115 kilometers out of 261 kilometers) is done.
  • Power Line Crossing: 91% of the power line crossings (568 out of 626) have been successfully executed.
  • Ballast Supply: 86% of the ballast supply (6.44 LCum out of 7.52 LCum) is accomplished.
  • Electrification: Tender for electrification has been awarded, marking a significant step towards electrifying the rail line.
