Prime Minister Narendra Modi Embarks on Extensive Tour to Four States, Unveiling Projects Worth Rs. 50,000 Crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour covering four states from July 7th to 8th, 2023. The Prime Minister will visit Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh on July 7th, followed by Telangana and Rajasthan on July 8th.

On July 7th, at approximately 10:45 AM, Prime Minister Modi will commence his visit by laying the foundation stone and dedicating various development projects during a public program in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Prime Minister’s next stop will be Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, where he will participate in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press Gorakhpur. Additionally, he will flag off two Vande Bharat trains, connecting Gorakhpur – Lucknow and Jodhpur – Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) from Gorakhpur Railway Station. Prime Minister Modi will then proceed to Varanasi, where he will attend a public program, inaugurate multiple development projects, and lay foundation stones for several others.

On July 8th, at around 10:45 AM, the Prime Minister will arrive in Warangal, Telangana, to lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure development projects worth approximately Rs. 6,100 crores. Later in the day, he will reach Bikaner, Rajasthan, where he will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs. 24,300 crore.

Key highlights of the Prime Minister’s visit include the dedication and foundation laying of national highway projects, railway line development, infrastructure upgradation, and the inauguration of significant public welfare initiatives. These projects aim to bolster connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and improve the lives of citizens in these regions.

In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for five national highway projects, valued at around Rs. 6,400 crores. These projects include the 33 km long 4-laning of Raipur to Kodebod section on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway, which will enhance connectivity and promote tourism. The Prime Minister will also dedicate the 53 km long 4-lane Bilaspur-Pathrapali stretch of the Bilaspur to Ambikapur section of NH-130, improving connectivity between Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh.

In Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for multiple development projects totaling over Rs. 12,100 crore. Notable projects include the inauguration of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction-Son Nagar railway line, completion of the four-lane widening of Varanasi-Jaunpur section of NH-56, and the foundation stone laying for the redevelopment of Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats. The Prime Minister will also distribute loans under the PMSVANidhi scheme, keys of PMAY Rural houses, and Ayushman cards to beneficiaries.

During his visit to Warangal, Telangana, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for various road and rail infrastructure development projects, valued at approximately Rs. 6,100 crores. These projects include the development of the Mancherial-Warangal section of the Nagpur-Vijayawada Corridor and the upgradation of the Karimnagar-Warangal section of NH-563. Furthermore, he will lay the foundation stone of the Railway Manufacturing Unit in Kazip.
