Major Progress in Manmad-Jalgaon-Bhusawal 3rd Line Project

In a significant development, the Manmad-Jalgaon-Bhusawal 3rd line project is making remarkable strides towards completion, marking a major boost in railway infrastructure. Here are the key highlights:

Length and Completion: The total length of this critical railway project stands at an impressive 183.94 kilometers. As of now, approximately 96.81 kilometers have been successfully completed, constituting 53% of the entire length.

Financial Investment: The project comes with a total estimated cost of 1360.16 Crores. An expenditure of 1286.75 Crores has been incurred to date, accounting for an impressive 94% of the allocated budget.

Overall Progress: The overall physical progress of the project stands at a commendable 80%, showcasing dedicated efforts and efficient execution.

Land Acquisition: The crucial process of land acquisition is well underway, with 28.19 out of 37.08 hectares already secured, marking an impressive 76% completion rate.

Completed Sections: Three crucial sections of the project have been successfully completed, covering 96.81 kilometers (53%):

• Bhusawal-Jalgaon
• Jalgaon-Pachora
• Manmad-Nandgaon

Near Completion Sections: Another section, Chalisgaon-Pimparkhed, is nearing completion and is expected to be finished within this fiscal year, covering 31.79 kilometers (17%).

Sections in Progress: Two significant sections, Pachora-Chalisgaon and Nandgaon-Pimparkhed, are actively in progress, encompassing 55.34 kilometers (30%) of the project’s total length.

Key Completed Works: Several critical project components have seen substantial progress, including:

• Earthwork, with 57% completion (34.10 out of 59.92 Lakh Cum)
• Blanketing, with 1 Lakh Cum completed out of 7.42 Lakh Cum
• Major bridges, achieving 50% completion with 11 out of 22 bridges finished
• Minor bridges/RUB, with a notable 48.13% completion (142 out of 295)
• Station buildings, reaching 47% completion (7 out of 15)
• Track linking, with 43% completion (70 out of 160 kilometers)
• Ballast supply, where 57% has been accomplished (2.87 out of 5.02 Lakh Cum)
• OHE Foundations, with 24% completion (774 out of 3168)
• Mast erection, achieving 21% completion (513 out of 2443)
• Electrification work is progressing simultaneously with track work, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient railway system.
