Trains cancelled, short-terminated in Punjab due to farmers’ stir

Farmers’ protest continues to hamper daily passenger train services in Punjab with a number of trains cancelled as the agitators block the tracks

Due to ongoing Kisan agitation in Punjab region, the following trains shall remain cancelled/ diverted/short terminated /short originate as under:

Cancellation of mail /express trains
1. 02425 New Delhi –Jammu Tawi express special journey commencing on ( JCO) 05.11.20 will remain cancelled.
2. 02426 Jammu tawi-New Delhi exp JCO 05.11.20 will remain cancelled .
3. 02054 Amritsar- Haridwar exp JCO 05.11.2020 & 06.11.20 will remain cancelled.
4. 02053 Haridwar-Amritsar JCO 05.11.2020 & 06.11.20 will remain cancelled.
5. 22439 NewDelhi –Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat exp JCO 05.11.20 will remain cancelled.
6. 22440 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra -NewDelhi – Vande Bharat exp. JCO 05.11.20 will remain cancelled.
7. 02462 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra -NewDelhi exp. JCO 05.11.20 will remain cancelled.

Train no. 02925 BandraTerminus-Amritsar exp jco 04.11.20 will be short terminated at Ambala. Consequently, the 02926 Amritsar-BandraTerminus exp jco 06.11.20 will short originate from Ambala and remain partially cancelled between Ambala-Amritsar-Ambala.

The 02237 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi puja spl jco 05.11.20 will be short terminate at Saharanpur and train no. 02238 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Puja spl jco 06.11.20 will short originate from Saharanpur and partially cancelled between Saharanpur-Jammu Tawi-Saharanpur.

Diversion of trains:

The 05910 Lalgarh- Dibrugarh exp jco 05.11.20 will be diverted to run via Hanumangarh Hisar Bhiwani Rohtak.
