REGULATION OF TRAINS ON JANTA CURFEW DAY IN THE WAKE OF COVID-19

1. On 20.03.20, Suburban services in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Secunderbad will be reduced to bare minimum. Actual no of trains to be run on 20.03.20 will be decided by the respective zonal Railways as per the assessment of local conditions and requirements.

2. Passenger trains originating between midnight of 21/22.03.20 to 2200 hrs of 22.03.20 shall not be run . But passenger trains originated before midnight of 21/22.03.20 will complete its journey.

3. Mail express trains and Intercity trains originating between 0400 hrs and 2200 hrs on 22.03.20 will remain cancel. However trains already started before this time slot will complete its journey.

Wherever Long distance train and Intercity train has huge occupancy, zonal Railways may at their discretion decide to not cancel such trains and run them as per schedule/revised schedule so that large no of passengers do not get stranded on 22.03.20
