Railways to Run Special Trains for Recruitment Exam Candidates
To manage the extra rush of passengers during the Railway Recruitment Exams at Moradabad, Dehradun, and Aligarh Junction from August 17 to September 9, 2025, Indian Railways has announced several measures, including augmentation of regular trains and introduction of exam special trains.
Additional coaches will be attached to multiple trains including Rishikesh–Chandausi, Bareilly–Aligarh, Najibabad–Moradabad, and Dehradun–Saharanpur during this period.
Two special services have also been planned:
-
Bareilly–Dehradun–Bareilly Special (via Rampur, Moradabad, Gajraula, Bijnor, Haridwar, and Laksar) will operate on selected dates between August 17 and September 9.
-
Bareilly–Moradabad–Bareilly MEMU/ICF Special (via Chandausi Jn) will run daily during the exam schedule.
Railways will also keep empty rakes ready at Moradabad, Bareilly, and Haridwar areas to introduce additional special trains if required.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, these arrangements aim to provide hassle-free travel for candidates and ease congestion during the examination period.
