Prime Minister Modi and Greek PM Mitsotakis Reinforce Strategic Partnership in Recent Call

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a phone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Strategic Partnership between India and Greece.

During the call, PM Mitsotakis extended warm congratulations to PM Modi on his recent re-election following India’s general elections. The two leaders expressed appreciation for the momentum generated in their bilateral ties through recent high-level exchanges.

They reviewed advancements in several areas of cooperation, including trade, defense, shipping, and connectivity, building on discussions from PM Mitsotakis’s visit to India earlier this year.

Additionally, Modi and Mitsotakis exchanged views on various regional and global issues, including the International Multi-Modal Connectivity (IMEEC) initiative and developments in West Asia.

The leaders concluded the conversation with an agreement to stay in regular contact to continue fostering their partnership.
