PM to inaugurate National Conference on Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Tuesday

Coinciding with the Vigilance Awareness Week organised by the Central Vigilance Commission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Conference on Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Tuesday.

The week is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (October 31) falls. This awareness week campaign affirms the commitment to promotion of integrity and probity in public life through citizen participation.

This year, the Vigilance Awareness Week will observed from October 27 to November 2 with the theme ‘Vigilant India, Prosperous India’.

The Vigilance Commission has requested all Central Government Ministries/Organizations to conduct activities relevant to the theme both within their organization, and outreach activities for public/citizens.
