Andhra Pradesh:

Complete Projects (falling partly/fully in the state) commissioned during 2019-20:

  • 113 Km long New Line Port connectivity project in Andhra Pradesh, costing Rs.2200 Cr. connecting main land with Krishnapatnam port got completed & commissioned.

03 Projects of total 1164 Km length, costing Rs. 11640 Cr. have been included as per below details:

  • Doubling of Dharmavaram- Pakala- Katpadi of Length 290 Km, Costing 2900 Cr.
  • Doubling of Guntur- Bibinagar of Length 248 Km, Costing 2480 Cr.
  • Doubling of Akola- Dhone via Purna, Mudhkhed, Secunderabad, Mehboobnagar excluding Purna-Mudkhed and Bolarum-Mehboobnagar including Dhone bye pass of Length 626 Km, Costing 6260 Cr.

Survey works included in Budget Booklet 2020-21:

  • RET survey of new line between Muddanuru to Mudigubba – 65 Km

Assam & NE Region:

Complete Projects (falling partly/fully in the state) commissioned during 2019-20:

02 Projects of total 157 Km length, costing Rs. 4058 Cr. have been commissioned as per below details:

  • 45 Km long length doubling project from Lumding to Hojai, costing Rs.651 cr.got completed & commissioned.
  • 112 Km long New line NATIONAL PROJECT construction in Tripura State named Agartala–Sabroom,costing Rs.3407 cr. got completed & commissioned.

  • Doubling of Lumding- Tinsukia Jn- Dibrugarh of Length 381 Km, Costing 3810 Cr.

Bihar:

Complete Projects (falling partly/fully in the state) commissioned during 2019-20:

04 Projects of total 139 Km length, costing Rs. 1318 Cr. have been commissioned as per below details:

  • 10.7 Km long bypass line from Chhapra Gramin to Khairali got completed & commissioned in all respect.
  • 67 Km long New Line project from Rajgir-Hisua-Tilaiya including Islampur-Nateshar costing, Rs.726 Cr. got completed & commissioned in all respect.
  • 42 Km long Doubling project from Hajipur-Ramdayalu Nagar costing, Rs.367 cr. got completed & commissioned in all respect.
  • 19 Km long Coal project named Bakhtiyarpur-Barhgot Completed and commissioned for facilitating the coal movement to Barh NTPC Thermal Power House

  • Doubling of Katihar- Kumedpur and Katihar- Mukuria of Length 64.5 Km, Costing 645 Cr.
  • Barauni- Bachwara 3rd& 4th line of Length 32 Km, Costing 590 Cr.
  • Sonenagar bye pass line from Chiralapothu to Bagha Bishunpur, Costing 125.5 Cr.
  • Doubling of Gorakhpur- Valmikinagar of Length 87 Km, Costing 992.7 Cr.

  • FLS of Raxaul-Kathmandu new electrified rail link (Funded by MEA)- 136 Km

  • 42.5 Km long New Line Coal Project from Kharsia-Korichhapar completed & commissioned.

  • Doubling of Boridand- Ambikapur and Boridand- Chirmiri of Length 148.2 Km, Costing 1482 Cr.

Delhi:

  • Long pending Doubling project (7 Km length but very important to decongest New Delhi Station) between New Delhi to Tilkar Bridge(5th& 6th line), costing Rs.137 cr. has been commissioned.

225% more outlay in FY 20-21 w.r.t average annual outlay during 2009-14 (Rs. 312 Cr/ Rs. 96 Cr.)

Gujarat:

  • 24 Km long Doubling project from Abu Road to Sarotra Road, costing Rs.131 cr. completed & commissioned.

  • Doubling of Asthalbohar- Rewari of Length 75.2 Km, Costing 752 Cr.
  • Doubling of Bhatinda- Bhildi via Sirsa, Hisar, Ratangarh, Degana, Luni, Samdhari excluding Degana- Rai ka Bag of Length 752.2 Km, Costing 7522 Cr.
  • Connectivity between Palwal (IR) and New Prithala (WDFC) of Length 3.5 Km, Costing 65.75 Cr.

  • Doubling of Muri- Barkakhana of Length 58 Km, Costing 580 Cr.
  • Permanent diversion of fire affected Dhanbad- Chandrapura line by Dhanbad- Ispatnagar line via Telulmari, Nichitpur, Matari, Telo including Y connection at Dhanbad and Ispatnagar of Length 43.8 Km, Costing 438 Cr.
  • Madhupur bye-pass line, costing 106.5 Cr.
  • Doubling between Bhojudi- Talgoria in connection with permanent diversion of fire affected Dhanbad- Chandrapura line of Length 12.5 Km, Costing 129 Cr.

  • Bypass line(2 Km long) named Jukhei Chord line, bypassing the Katni yard in Madhya Pradesh, costing Rs.12 cr got completed & commissioned.

  • RET survey of Khandwa-Dhar via Kharegone and Barwani new line – 260 Km

  • 320 Km long Gauge Conversion Project from Jaipur-Ringus-Sikar-Churu & Sikar-Loharu, costing Rs.1116 cr. got completed & commissioned in all respect.
  • 26 Km long Doubling project from Abu Road to Swaroop Ganj, costing Rs.176 cr. completed & commissioned.
  • 24 Km long Doubling project from Abu Road to Sarotra Road, costing Rs.131 cr. completed & commissioned

  • Doubling of Gorakhpur- Valmikinagar of Length 87 Km, Costing 992.7 Cr.
  • New line between Hardoi to Gursahaiganj via Sandi of Length 59.3 Km, Costing 1302.13 Cr

West Bengal:

04 Projects of total 15Km length, costing Rs. 217 Cr. have been commissioned as per below details:

  • Double line bypass connectivity (2.86 Km long) work joining double line track                         (Asansol-Raurkela & Asansol-Bardhaman), got completed & commissioned in West Bengal.
  • 1.67 Km long doubling project named New Alipore-Mile 5B in Sub-urban area of Sealdah, costing 65 Cr.got completed & commissioned in West Bengal.
  • 7 Km long Doubling project from Andul-Baltikuri, costing 89 Cr.got completed & commissioned.
  • 3 Km long Mohishila-kallipahari link doubling project, costing Rs 43 Cr. completed & commissioned.
