Confederation of All India Traders demands sedition proceedings against Flipkart

Praveen Khandelwal, Secretary General of the Confederation of All India Traders ( CAIT) has demanded the Government to immediately initiate sedition proceedings against Flipkart which has called Nagaland as a part outside India. The CAIT will take up this serious matter with Home Minister Amit Shah.

Khandelwal said that It is highly shocking and unbelievable. By calling Nagaland “ outside India” Flipkart has not only disrespected the sentiments of the people of Nagaland & the North-East but also hurt every Indian. Today it has called tomorrow they can call Leh Laddakh as a part outside India. The statement of Flipkart has challenged the sovereignty of India which can’t be tolerated .

Khandelwal said that it speaks the mindset of companies like Flipkart . No apology can be accepted for such a grave and erroneous statement which only an enemy can make. Such statement by an employee can’t be taken as his personal view but it appears that some kind of tutoring must have been made to the employees by the seniors. It also depict the mindset of the company towards far flung areas of the Country where they are not beneficial for providing seller services.
