CAIT to launch logo of its upcoming e-commerce portal on Friday
The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) will launch the logo of its much awaited multi-dimensional e-commerce portal “Bharatemarket” in New Delhi on Friday.
The fundumental idea behind the portal is that it is of the traders, by the traders and for the traders and consumers of India.
According to the traders’ body, it would be a concrete and firm step to “liberate the retail trade and e-commerce ecosystem of India from the clutches and cobweb of foreign funded e-commerce companies “.
Internationally acclaimed Vastu expert Khushdeep Bansal along with Pradeep Singhal, Chairman, All India Transport Welfare Association, Dhairysheel Patil, President, All India FMCG Distributors Association, Pankaj Mohindroo, Chief of India Cellular & Electronics Association, Arvinder Khurana, President, All India Mobile Retailers Association would be among those attending the event.
CAIT Delhi NCR convener Sushil Kumar Jain said the e-commerce business in the country is expanding with growing numbers of smartphone users and rapid increase in internet connectivity which is a clear sign that e-commerce is going to be future mode of business.
Driven by such a scenario, the CAIT feels that the traders of the country should also opt for making their e-shops on digital commerce beside having their physical outlet. The e-shops will prove to be an additional avenue for the traders to scale up their respective businesses, he said.
Jain added that soon after the launch of the logo, onboarding of sellers will commence and trade associations across country will be instrumental in getting more and more traders onboard on Bharatemarket portal.
