Confirmatory Oscillograph Car Runs (COCR) trial was conducted at the speed of 130 kmph between Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn (DDU) to Jhajha (JAJ) and back on 9/02 and 10/02 respectively. The special train comprising 24 LHB coaches started from Jhajha at 09:30 hrs and reached DDU at 13:23 hrs today (10/02/2020). It covered a total distance of 387 km in just 3 hours 50 minutes and clocked an average speed of 110.57 kmph. Very soon speed of trains between Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn to Jhajha, a 387 km stretch of Main Line connecting Howrah to New Delhi via Patna, will be raised to 130 kmph from the existing 110 kmph. This is likely to result into substantial reduction of running time between Howrah to New Delhi.
