Vishwakarma Puja Celebrations Bring Vibrancy to Banaras Rail Engine Workshop
The auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm at the Banaras Rail Engine Workshop, on September 17th. This celebration paid homage to Lord Vishwakarma, the deity revered as the patron of craftsmanship, art, and construction.
Key Highlights of the Celebration:
- On this special occasion, Mahaprabandhak Basudev Pandey, along with other dignitaries and employees of Bareka, gathered to offer their heartfelt wishes and greetings for the Vishwakarma Puja celebration.
- The entire premises of Banaras Rail Engine Workshop resonated with spirituality as employees adorned their respective workshops and workspaces with colorful decorations, including vibrant flags and attractive electric lights, all dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma.
- Notably, this year’s celebration at Banaras Rail Engine Workshop showcased a unique display of Chandrayaan-3, Vikram Lander, and Pragyan Rover, inspired by India’s recent lunar mission. The display highlighted the successful landing of Vikram Lander on the lunar surface and the ongoing mission of Pragyan Rover to transmit vital information from the moon’s surface. This display attracted visitors and garnered much attention.
- All decorations and displays during the Vishwakarma Puja celebration were meticulously crafted using the finest materials available at the Loco Assembly Shop. This showcased the dedication and creativity of the employees in honoring Lord Vishwakarma.
In addition to the festivities, the Vishwakarma Puja celebration at Banaras Rail Engine Workshop served as a reminder of the employees’ commitment to environmental responsibility. Instead of installing traditional idols of Lord Vishwakarma, colorful images were used, reflecting the employees’ respect for the environment.
The event was graced by the presence of key figures, including Principal Chief Electrical Engineer S.K. Shrivastav, Chief Material Manager Rajnish Gupta, Chief Mechanical Engineer Prabir Kumar Saha, Chief Personnel Officer Ranvijay, Chief Electrical Engineer (Loco) Arun Sharma, and Chief Electrical Engineer (Inspection) M.K. Singh, among others.
