Twitter Exchange Between Former Chattisgarh CM Dr. Raman Singh and Current CM Bhupesh Baghel
In a recent Twitter exchange, former Chattisgarh CM, Dr. Raman Singh, took a humorous jibe at the current Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, prompting a lighthearted response.
Dr. Raman Singh playfully referred to Baghel’s five-year tenure and his affinity for various games, implying that with the Election Commission’s model code of conduct in place, the only “game” left to play was “candy crush.” Singh humorously mentioned that Baghel had reached level 4400 in Candy Crush, while the government appeared to be at level 420.
Baghel replied with equal humor, calling Singh’s questions “cute” and inquiring whether he took any special “tonics” to maintain his varied interests in games over the years. He also made a playful reference to the Commonwealth Games. Baghel assured Singh that he was only playing “candy crush” while implying that the public might have different plans in mind.
The exchange continued with Baghel mentioning that the BJP had previously questioned his choice of activities, including riding a bullock cart and playing traditional games, but now, they were taking issue with his Candy Crush pursuits. He explained that the objections were rooted in his being the Chief Minister and that the people of Chattisgarh would ultimately decide who stays and who goes.
Baghel concluded by affirming his commitment to continue participating in various activities, including gilli-danda and climbing trees, all while enjoying his favorite game, Candy Crush. He expressed his faith in the people of Chattisgarh, who decide where their blessings go.
