Traffic Block Causes Disruption in Train Services: Cancellations, Partial Cancellations, and Delays Expected
Inconvenience looms for commuters as a power and traffic block, essential for the launching of a protection frame between Karnal and Bhaini Khurd stations on the Delhi division, will lead to the temporary cancellation, partial cancellation, and regulation of several trains.
Cancellation of Trains:
- Train no. 04449 New Delhi-Kurukshetra and 04452 Kurukshetra-Delhi Special, scheduled to depart on June 28, 2023, stands cancelled until further notice.
Partial Cancellation of Trains:
- Train no. 11841 Khajuraho-Kurukshetra Express, set to depart on June 27, 2023, will be short terminated at Panipat. Consequently, the 11842 Kurukshetra-Khajuraho Express, scheduled for June 28, 2023, will originate from Panipat.
Regulation of Trains:
- The 22709 Nanded-AmbAndaura train and 12925 Mumbai-Amritsar Paschim Express, both departing on June 27, 2023, will experience regulatory measures for approximately 105 and 60 minutes, respectively, enroute.
- On June 28, 2023, the 12460 Amritsar-New Delhi InterCity Express will face a regulation period of approximately 115 minutes. Additionally, the 14681 New Delhi-Jalandhar City Express will be rescheduled accordingly.
Commuters and passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and make necessary arrangements to accommodate the disruptions caused by these cancellations, partial cancellations, and train regulations. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, and authorities are working diligently to restore normalcy as quickly as possible.
