Thunderstorm Alert for Several Areas in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh

In a recent weather update, the meteorological department has issued a thunderstorm warning for various regions in North Delhi, North-East Delhi, North-West Delhi, and Central Delhi. The storm is expected to bring light to moderate intensity rain accompanied by gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 50 km/h. Residents in the following areas should remain cautious: Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Rohini, Badili, Model Town, Karawal Nagar, Azadpur, Delhi University, Civil Lines, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Shahadra, Vivek Vihar.

Additionally, nearby locations such as Gohana, Sonipat, Kharkhoda in Haryana, and Bagpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur, Gulaoti, Siyana, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh are also expected to experience thunderstorm conditions with light to moderate intensity rainfall. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and remain alert.

Furthermore, the weather department has forecasted a separate thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain in the regions of Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal in Haryana, and Gangoh, Deoband, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. While the rain is expected to be less severe, locals are still urged to stay aware of the weather conditions.

In Jind (Haryana) and Kithor, Garhmukteshwar (U.P.), the weather forecast indicates the possibility of light to moderate intensity rain along with gusty winds of approximately 30-40 km/h. These conditions are expected to prevail over the next two hours.

The authorities advise citizens to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during the thunderstorms. It is crucial to prioritize safety and heed any further updates or warnings issued by the meteorological department.
