In an official notice to the public, it has been communicated that, in consideration of security measures and crowd management, restrictions will be enforced on various parcel services at Ayodhya Cantt. and Prayagraj Sangam stations during specific periods.

Ayodhya Cantt. Station (AYC): From January 20, 2024, to January 31, 2024, limitations will be in place for all parcel handling activities, encompassing the handling of leased SLRS, VPS, and demand VPs at Ayodhya Cantt. The parcel godowns and platforms at this station will be kept clear of parcel packages due to special arrangements. Both inward and outward parcel traffic, including leased SLRs and VPs (including demand VPs), will face restrictions during this period. Furthermore, outward parcel booking from Ayodhya Cantt. Station is constrained from January 18, 2024, to January 31, 2024.

Prayagraj Sangam Station (PYGS): In preparation for the upcoming Maga Mela celebrations, restrictions on various parcel handling activities, including leased SLRS, VPs, and demand VPs, will be in effect at Prayagraj Sangam (PYGS) station from February 8, 2024, to February 10, 2024. Similar to Ayodhya Cantt., the parcel godowns and platforms at Prayagraj Sangam will be maintained free of parcel packages to facilitate special arrangements. Restrictions will be applicable to both inward and outward parcel traffic during this period.

It is important to note that these restrictions extend to all types of parcel handling for trains originating from other divisions/zones that have stoppages for loading/unloading facilities at Ayodhya Cantt. and Prayagraj Sangam (PYGS) stations. The temporary measures are implemented to ensure a smooth and secure environment during these specific periods. Commuters and stakeholders are advised to plan accordingly and cooperate with the outlined restrictions for the successful execution of the aforementioned security and crowd management measures.
