Special Trains Rolled Out to Manage Winter and Christmas Passenger Rush in 2023

Mumbai, November 20, 2023: In a welcome move for travelers, special trains have been announced in collaboration with Central Railway to address the anticipated surge in passenger numbers during the Winter and Christmas period in 2023. The details of the special trains are as follows:

1. Mumbai CSMT – Thivim – Mumbai CSMT Special (Daily) – Train no. 01151 / 01152:
   • Train no. 01151 (Mumbai CSMT – Thivim Special) will depart daily from Mumbai CSMT at 00:20 hrs from December 22, 2023, to January 2, 2024, reaching Thivim at 14:00 hrs on the same day.
   • Train no. 01152 (Thivim – Mumbai CSMT Special) will depart daily from Thivim at 15:00 hrs from December 22, 2023, to January 2, 2024, reaching Mumbai CSMT at 03:50 hrs on the next day.
   • Halts include Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, and Pernem stations.
   • Composition: Two Tier AC – 01 Coach, Three Tier AC – 03 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, General – 05 Coaches, SLR – 02.
2. Pune Jn. – Karmali – Pune Jn. Special (Weekly) – Train no. 01445 / 01446:
   • Train no. 01445 (Pune Jn. – Karmali Special) will depart from Pune Jn. at 17:30 hrs on Fridays, December 22, and December 29, 2023, reaching Karmali at 08:30 hrs on the next day.
   • Train no. 01446 (Karmali – Pune Jn. Special) will depart from Karmali at 09:20 hrs on Sundays, December 24, and December 31, 2023, reaching Pune Jn. at 23:35 hrs on the same day.
   • Halts include Lonavala, Kalyan, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, and Thivim stations.
   • Composition: Two Tier AC – 01 Coach, Three Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, General – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02.
3. Karmali – Panvel – Karmali Special (Weekly) – Train no. 01448 / 01447:
   • Train no. 01448 (Karmali – Panvel Special) will depart from Karmali at 09:20 hrs on Saturdays, December 23, and December 30, 2023, reaching Panvel at 20:15 hrs on the same day.
   • Train no. 01447 (Panvel – Karmali Special) will depart from Panvel at 22:00 hrs on Saturdays, December 23, and December 30, 2023, reaching Karmali at 08:30 hrs on the next day.
