Special Trains Rolled Out to Ease Puja-Diwali Festival 2023 Travel Rush

Great news for passengers planning to travel during the Puja-Diwali Festival 2023! In a bid to accommodate the increased influx of travelers during this festive season, special train services have been introduced in collaboration with Central Railway and Southern Railway. Here are the key details:

Train no. 01185 / 01186 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) (Weekly) Special:

Train No. 01185 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn. (Weekly) Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 22:15 every Friday from October 20, 2023, to December 1, 2023. The train will arrive at Mangaluru Jn. at 17:05 hrs on the following day.

Train No. 01186 Mangaluru Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) (Weekly) Special will leave Mangaluru Jn. at 18:45 every Saturday from October 21, 2023, to December 2, 2023. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 14:25 hrs on the next day.

Halts along the route:

The train will make stops at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, and Surathkal stations.

Train Composition:

The special train comprises a total of 21 coaches, including 2 Tier AC- 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC- 05 Coaches, Sleeper- 08 Coaches, General – 05 Coaches, and SLR – 02.
