Special Train Services Rolled Out by Railways to Accommodate Sabarimala Festival Rush

In anticipation of the heightened passenger demand during the Sabarimala festival, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of special train services, totaling 16 services (8 UP + 8 DOWN).

🟠 06076 Panvel to Nagercoil Special Express: Departing every Wednesday from 29/11/23 to 17/01/24 at 23.50 hrs, this special express will traverse to reach Nagercoil at 10.00 hrs on Friday.

🟠 06075 Nagercoil to Panvel Special Express: Scheduled to depart every Tuesday from 28/11/23 to 16/01/24 at 11.40 hrs, this special express will conclude its journey, reaching Panvel at 22.20 hrs on Wednesday.

➡️ Composition: The train comprises 21 ICF coaches, including 1 2A, 5 3A, 11 sleeper, 2 general, and 2 SLR Brakevans.

➡️ Halts: The train will make stops at Panvel, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Muradeshwar, Mookambika Road, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Mangaluru, Kasargod, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam, Kollam, Trivandrum, Kulitturai, Eranakulam, Nagercoil.

This proactive step by the Railways aims to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of devotees during the Sabarimala festival period.
