Special Train Service Introduced Between Patliputra and Gaya for Festive Season

In anticipation of the forthcoming festive season and the expected surge in passenger traffic, a special train service has been introduced for the convenience of travelers between Patliputra and Gaya. Train numbers 05553/05554, running as Patliputra-Gaya-Patliputra Special, will be operational from October 15, 2023, to December 15, 2023, on a daily basis.

Train number 05553, the Patliputra-Gaya Special, will depart from Patliputra daily at 10:30 AM, reaching Gaya at 2:00 PM during the same day. On the return journey, train number 05554, the Gaya-Patliputra Special, will depart from Gaya daily at 2:45 PM, arriving in Patliputra at 6:25 PM.

This special train, operating in both the up and down directions, will make stops at various stations between Patliputra and Gaya, including Fulwari Sharif, Patna, Punpun, Pothahi, Taregana, Jehanabad, Makhdumpur Gaya, and Bela.

Travelers are encouraged to take advantage of this special train service during the festive season to ease their journeys between Patliputra and Gaya.
