In response to the growing passenger demand, Indian Railways has announced the operation of a special Garib Rath train on the Saharsa-Anand Vihar route via Supaul, Saraiyag, Nirmali, Jhanjharpur, Sakri, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, and Raxaul. The decision to run this special service, numbered 05577/05578, comes as a measure to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the peak season.

- Schedule: From 04th December 2024 to 31st December 2024, operating five days a week (except Thursday and Saturday).

- Gadhbaruari (20:20), Supaul (21:45), Saraiyag (21:15), Nirmali (22:00), and more.
- Arrival: 00:30 hrs on the third day at Anand Vihar.
- Train Number 05578: Anand Vihar to Saharsa (Return)
- Schedule: From 06th December 2024 to 02nd January 2025, operating five days a week (except Saturday and Monday).
- Departure: 05:15 hrs from Anand Vihar
- Stops: Includes stations like Narpatganj (00:10), Raxaul (01:10), Sitamarhi (02:40), Darbhanga (04:50), and more.
- Arrival: 10:30 hrs at Saharsa.
