  • Remaining Length: 44.11 km
  • Overall Physical Progress: (3rd line – 72%) (4th line – 70%)
  • Project Cost: ₹1177.97 Cr
  • Expenditure till date: ₹1035.92 Cr

  • Completed Doubling: 34.59 km (43.95%) A) Khapri – Sindi

Sections Near Completion:

  • Khapri – Ajni: 27.14 km (34.48%)

Sections In Progress:

  • Seloo Road – Wardha: 16.99 km (21.58%)
  • Ajni – Nagpur

Project Status:

  • Land Acquisition: 36.47/36.51 Ha (99.50%)

  • Earthwork: 22.39/32.63 Lcum (69%)
  • Important Bridges: 2/2 (100%)
  • Major Bridges: 10/12 (83%)
  • Minor Bridges: 70/144 (51%)
  • Station Building: 2/7 (28%)
  • Track Linking: 70/157 km (44%)
  • OHE Foundation: 1010/4048 (25%)
  • OHE Mast Erections: 890/3680 (24%)
  • OHE Wiring Tkm: 45/184 (25%)
  • New Signalling Electronic Overlocking: 6/20 Stations (30%)
  • Signalling Indoor and Outdoor Works: 6/20 (30%)

This progress signifies a crucial step toward the completion of the Wardha-Nagpur rail expansion. Once finished, the 3rd/4th lines will enhance train mobility, alleviating congestion in the section.
