In anticipation of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony scheduled for January 22, 2024, in Ayodhya, two cutting-edge mobile hospitals, Arogya Maitri Disaster Management Cube-BHISHM, have been strategically deployed to enhance medical preparedness and response capabilities. The event, graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is expected to draw a crowd of 8,000 attendees.

Part of the larger initiative known as “Project BHISHM” – Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita, and Maitri, these revolutionary cubes are tailored to accommodate up to 200 casualties, prioritizing rapid response and comprehensive care. Infused with state-of-the-art technology, the Aid Cube integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics to streamline coordination, real-time monitoring, and efficient management of medical services during emergencies.

Comprising 72 easily transportable components, the entire unit can be conveniently carried by hand, cycle, or even drone, offering unparalleled flexibility. Particularly noteworthy is the Aid Cube’s remarkable deployment speed of just 12 minutes in mass casualty incidents, addressing the critical time gap from primary care to definitive care and potentially saving numerous lives during the golden hour of emergencies.

Designed to withstand diverse emergency scenarios, these cubes are robust, waterproof, and lightweight, suitable for various configurations. From airdrops to ground transportation, the cube ensures rapid deployment anywhere, ensuring an immediate response capability.

One of the standout features is the advanced medical equipment, RFID-tagged for efficient repacking and redeployment. The BHISHM software system, integrated into a provided tablet, empowers operators to swiftly locate items, monitor their usage and expiry, and ensure readiness for subsequent deployments.

As Ayodhya gears up for a momentous event, the deployment of the Arogya Maitri Disaster Management Cube-BHISHM stands as a testament to India’s commitment to advanced medical care and disaster response, showcasing a blend of innovation and efficiency.
