Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh Gives Nod to Establish 23 New Sainik Schools in Partnership Mode

In a significant development aimed at providing quality education and fostering patriotism among the youth, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh has granted approval for the establishment of 23 new Sainik Schools in partnership mode. This decision comes as part of the Indian government’s ambitious initiative to set up a total of 100 new Sainik Schools in collaboration with NGOs, Private Schools, and State Governments.

Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the objective behind this initiative is to offer students quality education in alignment with the National Education Policy while providing them with enhanced career opportunities, including the option to join the Armed Forces. It also presents an opportunity for the private sector to contribute to nation-building by molding today’s youth into responsible citizens for tomorrow.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has already been signed between the Sainik Schools Society and 19 new Sainik Schools located across the nation as part of this initiative. With the addition of the 23 newly approved Sainik Schools, the tally of institutions functioning under the Sainik School Society in partnership mode now stands at 42, in addition to the 33 existing Sainik Schools that operate under the erstwhile pattern.

These new Sainik Schools, operating under the guidance of the Sainik Schools Society, will follow a curriculum aligned with respective education boards and will adhere to the Rules and Regulations outlined for new Sainik Schools in partnership mode. Additionally, they will provide students with an Academic PLUS curriculum, ensuring a holistic and comprehensive educational experience.

For more information and specific details about the 23 approved new Sainik Schools, organized by State/Union Territory, interested students and parents are encouraged to visit the official web portal at https://sainikschool.ncog.gov.in/. This initiative not only promises to impart quality education but also instill a sense of discipline, patriotism, and pride in the students, nurturing them to become responsible citizens of India.
