Railway Administration Implements Changes in Train Operations for Sonnagar Yard Remodeling and Commissioning of Sonnagar-Ankorha Third Line

In a bid to enhance operational capacity, the Railway Administration has undertaken infrastructure development for Sonnagar Yard remodeling and commissioning of the Sonnagar-Ankorha third line. With the remodeling of Sonnagar Yard and the construction of the third line, there will be an expansion in line capacity, allowing for the operation of more trains and improving adherence to train schedules. Consequently, train operations will be affected as follows:

Cancelled Trains

Passenger Trains:

1. Train No. 03341/03342 Barkakana-Dehri on Son-Barwadih-Kana Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 11 to February 23, 2024.
2. Train No. 03359/03360 Barkakana-Varanasi-Barkakana MEMU Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 15 to February 23, 2024.
3. Train No. 03311/03312 Barwadih-Dehri on Son-Barwadih Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 15 to February 23, 2024.
4. Train No. 03363/03364 Barwadih-Dehri on Son-Barwadih Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 15 to February 23, 2024.
5. Train No. 03381/03382 Gaya-Dehri on Son-Gaya Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
6. Train No. 03691/03692 Gaya-Dehri on Son-Gaya MEMU Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
7. Train No. 03383/03384 Gaya-DDU-Gaya MEMU Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
8. Train No. 03693/03694 Dehri on Son-DDU-Dehri on Son MEMU Passenger Special will remain cancelled from February 16 to February 23, 2024.

Cancelled Mail/Express Trains:

1. Train No. 13349 Singrauli-Patna Express will remain cancelled from February 15 to February 24, 2024.
2. Train No. 13350 Patna-Singrauli Express will remain cancelled from February 14 to February 23, 2024.
3. Train No. 18311 Visakhapatnam-Varanasi Express will remain cancelled on February 14, 18, and 21, 2024.
4. Train No. 18312 Varanasi-Visakhapatnam Express will remain cancelled on February 15, 19, and 22, 2024.

6. Train No. 18612 Varanasi-Ranchi Express will remain cancelled on February 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 23, 2024.
7. Train No. 18635 Ranchi-Sasaram Express will remain cancelled on February 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, 2024.
8. Train No. 18636 Sasaram-Ranchi Express will remain cancelled on February 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2024.

Partially Cancelled/Partially Diverted Trains:

1. Train No. 13305 Dhanbad-Sasaram Intercity Express, originating from Dhanbad, will be partially cancelled from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
2. Train No. 13306 Sasaram-Dhanbad Intercity Express, originating from Sasaram, will have partial commencement from Sasaram starting from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
3. Train No. 13243 Patna-Gaya-Bhabua Road Express will have partial cancellation from Patna starting from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
4. Train No. 13244 Bhabua Road-Gaya-Patna Express will have partial commencement from Bhabua Road starting from February 17 to February 24, 2024.
5. Train No. 14262 Lucknow-Gaya Ekta Express will have partial termination at DDU on February 15, 20, and 22, 2024.
6. Train No. 14261 Gaya-Lucknow Ekta Express will have partial commencement from DDU on February 16, 21, and 23, 2024.
7. Train No. 14260 Lucknow-Gaya Ekta Express will have partial termination at DDU on February 17, 2024.
8. Train No. 14259 Gaya-Lucknow Ekta Express will have partial commencement from DDU on February 18, 2024.

Trains Diverted via Alternate Routes Instead of Regular Routes: Trains diverted via Main Line (Asansol-Kiul-Patna-DDU):

1. Train No. 12311/12312 Howrah-Kalka-Howrah Netaji Express, originating from Howrah, will be diverted via the Main Line route from Howrah/Kalka from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
2. Train No. 12987/12988 Sealdah-Ajmer-Sealdah Express, originating from Siyalda, will be diverted via the Main Line route from Siyalda/Ajmer from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
3. Train No. 13152 Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Express, originating from Jammu Tawi, will be diverted via the Main Line route from Jammu Tawi/Kolkata from February 14 to February 21, 2024.
4. Train No. 13151 Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express, originating from Kolkata, will be diverted via the Main Line route from Kolkata/Jammu Tawi from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
5. Train No. 12319 Kolkata-Agra Cantt.-Kolkata Superfast Express, originating from Kolkata, will be diverted via the Main Line route from Kolkata/Agra Cantt. from February 16 to February 23, 2024.
6. Train No. 12320 Agra Cantt.-Kolkata-Agra Cantt. Superfast Express, originating from Agra Cantt., will be diverted via the Main Line route from Agra Cantt./Kolkata from February 15 to February 22, 2024.

Trains Diverted via Diesel Line (Gomoh-Barkakana-Gaya-Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay):

1. Train No. 12331/12332 Kolkata-Haridwar-Kolkata Garib Rath Express, originating from Kolkata, will be diverted via the Diesel Line route from Kolkata/Haridwar from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
2. Train No. 13007/13008 Howrah-Sri Ganganagar-Howrah Udyan Abha Toofan Express, originating from Howrah, will be diverted via the Diesel Line route from Howrah/Sri Ganganagar from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
3. Train No. 12325/12326 Kolkata-Nangal Dam-Kolkata Superfast Express, originating from Kolkata, will be diverted via the Diesel Line route from Kolkata/Nangal Dam from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
4. Train No. 12327/12328 Kolkata-Dehradun-Kolkata Superfast Express, originating from Kolkata, will be diverted via the Diesel Line route from Kolkata/Dehradun from February 15 to February 22, 2024.

Trains Diverted via Loop Line (Kiul-Jamalpur-Bhagalpur-Kiul):

1. Train No. 12337/12338 Howrah-Bhagalpur-Howrah Express, originating from Howrah, will be diverted via the Loop Line route from Howrah/Bhagalpur from February 15 to February 22, 2024.
2. Train No. 12335/12336 Bhagalpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Bhagalpur Express, originating from Bhagalpur, will be diverted via the Loop Line route from Bhagalpur/Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from February 15 to February 22, 2024.

Rescheduled Trains:

1. Train No. 18621 Hatia-Patna Express will be rescheduled by 4 hours and 10 minutes from Hatia on February 16, 2024.
2. Train No. 18622 Patna-Hatia Express will be rescheduled by 3 hours and 30 minutes from Patna on February 16, 2024.
3. Train No. 18623 Ranchi-Patna Express will be rescheduled by 3 hours and 10 minutes from Ranchi on February 16, 2024.
4. Train No. 18624 Patna-Ranchi Express will be rescheduled by 3 hours and 10 minutes from Patna on February 16, 2024.
