PM Narendra Modi’s Visit to Gujarat: Inaugurations, Celebrations, and Address to Officer Trainees

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on October 30th and 31st, embarking on a series of significant events and inaugurations.

Day 1 – October 30th:

  • 10:30 AM: The day begins with PM Modi’s visit to the Ambaji Temple, where he will perform Pooja and Darshan.
  • 12:00 PM: In Mehsana, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of numerous development projects across various sectors. These projects collectively amount to around Rs. 5800 crores and span rail, road, drinking water, and irrigation infrastructure.

The inaugurated projects include the New Bhandu-New Sanand(N) section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), the doubling of Viramgam – Samakhiali rail line, Katosan Road- Bechraji – Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL Siding) Rail Project, and others.

The foundation stones will be laid for projects like irrigation facilities in Santrampur taluka of Mahisagar District and sewage treatment plants in Siddhpur (Patan), Palanpur (Banaskantha), Bayad (Aravalli), and Vadnagar (Mehsana), among others.

Day 2 – October 31st:

  • 8:00 AM: In Kevadia, the Prime Minister will start the day by offering a floral tribute at the Statue of Unity and participating in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
  • Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade: The day’s highlights include a Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade featuring contingents from BSF and various state police. It will also include a daredevil show by all-women CRPF Bikers, a women’s pipe band of BSF, a choreographed program by Gujarat women police, a special NCC show, school bands display, and a flypast by the Indian Air Force, showcasing the economic viability of vibrant villages.
  • Inaugurations and Foundation Stones: In Kevadia, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth Rs. 160 crore. This includes the Heritage Train from Ekta Nagar to Ahmedabad, the Narmada Aarti live project, Kamalam Park, and more.
  • Address to Officer Trainees: PM Modi will conclude the day by addressing the Officer Trainees of the 98th Common Foundation Course at the culmination of Aarambh 5.0. This year’s Aarambh theme is ‘Harnessing the power of disruption,’ focusing on defining pathways to harness the power of disruption in governance for inclusive development. The 98th Common Foundation course theme is ‘Mai nahi hum,’ with participants from 16 civil services of India and 3 civil services of Bhutan.

PM Modi’s visit to Gujarat promises a series of landmark events, inaugurations, and celebrations, highlighting the government’s commitment to development and unity.
