New Vande Bharat Express Train to Connect Dehradun and Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal

Dehradun, India – In a move aimed at enhancing the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has announced the introduction of a new VandeBharat Express train between Dehradun and Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi. The inaugural run of the train is scheduled for May 25, 2023, departing from Dehradun, with regular service set to begin on May 29, 2023, in both directions.

The newly introduced train, numbered 22458/22457, will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays. Passengers traveling from Dehradun to Anand Vihar Terminal and vice versa can now avail themselves of this efficient and comfortable mode of transportation.

According to the schedule, the 22458 Dehradun-Anand Vihar Terminal VandeBharat Express will depart from Dehradun at 07:00 a.m., reaching Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:45 a.m. on the same day. The return journey on train 22457 will commence from Anand Vihar Terminal at 05:50 p.m. and arrive in Dehradun at 10:35 p.m. on the same day. The train will make scheduled stops at Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, and Meerut City stations in both directions.

To mark the inauguration of this significant railway service, the 02458 Dehradun-Anand Vihar Terminal VandeBharat Express will depart from Dehradun at 11:00 a.m. on May 25, 2023. Prime Minister will remotely inaugurate the train’s operation through a video conference, underscoring the government’s commitment to advancing transportation infrastructure and connectivity.

Passengers eagerly await the launch of the new VandeBharat Express, which promises a seamless travel experience and efficient connectivity between Dehradun and Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal. The introduction of this train is expected to facilitate enhanced mobility, foster economic growth, and strengthen ties between the two cities.
