New Vande Bharat Express Service Connects Indore to Nagpur

Indore, October 9, 2023 – In a significant development for rail connectivity in central India, the popular Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express has been extended to Nagpur, marking a momentous occasion for passengers traveling between these key cities.

Starting from October 9, 2023, the train, now rebranded as the “Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express,” will run on a permanent basis, enhancing connectivity and convenience for commuters in the region. This extension has been eagerly awaited by travelers, and it is set to transform the rail travel experience for many.

The train’s designated halts include Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Itarasi, and Nagpur, making it an essential link connecting these vital urban centers. The updated schedule ensures timely arrivals and departures to meet the needs of passengers.

Timings:

  • Indore Departure: 06:10 hrs
  • Nagpur Arrival: 14:30 hrs

For the return journey:

  • Nagpur Departure: 15:20 hrs
  • Indore Arrival: 23:45 hrs

The Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, excluding Sundays, providing a reliable and efficient mode of transportation for commuters. Ticket bookings for this extended journey will open from October 9, 2023, onwards, offering passengers the opportunity to plan their trips conveniently.

With this expansion, the Central Railway (CR) region will now have its fifth Vande Bharat Express, following the success of the CSMT-Shirdi VB Express, CSMT-Solapur VB Express, CSMT-Madgaon Goa VB Express, and Nagpur-Bilaspur VB Express. The introduction of the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express is expected to further bolster the connectivity and accessibility of the CR region, enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.
