New Delhi/Delhi to Witness Summer Special Trains to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra

In a move to facilitate passenger convenience and alleviate the rush, the Indian Railways has decided to introduce summer special trains between New Delhi/Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The following train services, numbered 04087/04088 and 04095/04096, will be operational:

04087/04088 New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi Shakti Special Express (2 trips) Train 04087, the New Delhi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Shakti Special Express, will depart from New Delhi at 11:15 PM on July 2, 2023, and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:25 AM the following day. The return journey of train 04088, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi Shakti Special Express, will commence from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 6:30 PM on July 3, 2023, and arrive at New Delhi at 6:50 AM the next morning.

These special trains with comfortable coach compartments will halt at stations in both directions, including Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Udhampur.

04095/04096 Delhi Junction – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Delhi Junction Summer Special Express (2 trips) Train 04095, the Delhi Junction – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Summer Special Express, will depart from Delhi Junction at 11:15 PM on July 3, 2023, and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:25 AM the next day. The return journey of train 04096, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Delhi Junction Summer Special Express, will commence from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 6:30 PM on July 4, 2023, and reach Delhi Junction at 6:50 AM the following morning.

These special trains with comfortable sleeper and general class coaches will halt at stations in both directions, including Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Udhampur.”
