National President Jagat Prakash Nadda Highlights BJP Achievements at Odisha State Executive Committee Meeting
The National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jagat Prakash Nadda, addressed the BJP State Executive Committee Meeting in Odisha today, marking a significant occasion following the party’s remarkable electoral success in the state.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with overwhelming support from the people of Odisha, the BJP secured an impressive victory, winning 78 seats and garnering 40.7% of the vote share, reflecting the trust and confidence placed in the BJP and the Prime Minister.
Nadda emphasized the BJP’s national stature as the only ‘Pan-India party’, spanning every corner of the country from east to west, north to south, and the northeast. He highlighted the BJP’s unprecedented electoral performance, contrasting it with the Congress party’s dwindling influence in 13 states, where they failed to secure a single seat.
Addressing the gathering, Nadda criticized the Congress party’s hypocrisy, accusing them of undermining democracy during the Emergency while now claiming to defend the Constitution. He emphasized that unlike the dynastic politics of opposition parties, the BJP stands firm on the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’.
Nadda also hailed the historic reopening of Odisha’s Ratna Bhandar after 40 years, underscoring the BJP’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and ensuring transparent management of religious institutions.
Recognizing the responsibility bestowed upon the BJP by the people of Odisha, Nadda reiterated the party’s dedication to accelerating the state’s development under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, and Pravati Parida.
The meeting was attended by prominent leaders including Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram, along with BJP Odisha President Manmohan Samal and other senior functionaries.
