Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project Reaches Key Milestone with Completion of Rail Level Slab at Anand and Other Stations
The construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is progressing steadily, with a significant milestone achieved as the rail level slab at Anand station, along with those at Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, and Ahmedabad, has been successfully completed. The 508-kilometer high-speed rail network, which will have 12 stations in total, is set to revolutionize travel between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, with eight of these stations located in Gujarat, including Anand, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Bilimora, Vapi, Bharuch, and Sabarmati.
The completion of the rail level slab marks a crucial step in the development of the stations, with work on the superstructures now progressing at a fast pace. Once operational, these stations will be equipped with modern amenities, such as business-class lounges, ticketing areas, restrooms, retail centers, and a public information system. Additionally, several stations, including Anand, will be integrated with local transport systems for easy and seamless connectivity via buses, taxis, and autos.
As the project nears its completion, the Bullet Train stations in Gujarat are set to offer world-class facilities, providing passengers with an elevated travel experience and further enhancing the region’s transport infrastructure.
