Low-Pressure Areas Form in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, Heavy Rainfall Recorded

In a significant meteorological development, the influence of a cyclonic circulation over north Coastal Karnataka and its vicinity has led to the formation of a Low-Pressure Area over the Eastcentral Arabian Sea, just off the south Konkan-Goa coasts. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to an altitude of 5.8 kilometers above mean sea level. Meteorologists predict that this weather system is poised to intensify further and transform into a Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area over the same region. Over the next 24 hours, it is expected to gradually move in a west-northwestward direction.

Simultaneously, another Low-Pressure Area has emerged in response to the cyclonic circulation over Myanmar and the adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. This new weather system has materialized over the Northeast and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. The associated cyclonic circulation reaches an impressive height of 7.6 kilometers above mean sea level. Experts anticipate that this system will gain strength, evolving into a Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area. Over the next 48 hours, it is projected to track northwestwards towards the north Odisha and adjoining West Bengal coasts.

In light of these developments, regions in proximity to these weather systems are advised to remain vigilant as heavy rainfall may occur.
